Symptoms of Lymphoma

  1. Systemic symptoms: Patients with malignant lymphoma may experience systemic symptoms such as fever, itchy skin, night sweats, and weight loss before or at the same time as the discovery of swollen lymph nodes. If these symptoms have no obvious cause, it is recommended to conduct a routine blood test in time to rule out the possibility of lymphoma.

  2. Swollen lymph nodes: This is the most typical clinical manifestation of lymphoma. Enlarged lymph nodes are usually painless, gradually increase in size, have a smooth surface, and feel like a ping-pong ball or the tip of your nose. The most common lymph nodes are cervical and supraclavicular. If abnormally enlarged lymph nodes are found, a biopsy is recommended, usually from the lymph nodes in the lower neck or armpit. This is an indispensable examination method for diagnosing lymphoma.

  3. Skin lesions: Patients with malignant lymphoma may have a variety of skin lesions, such as erythema, blisters, erosions, etc. Due to low immune function, late-stage patients are prone to skin infection and often experience symptoms such as ulceration and exudation.
